Decentralized Fog or DeFog is the solution to simplify the user experience when recovering an account using the 24 word phrase. DeFog will allow for accounts to be portable between different Fog servers. Today account recovery from Signal to Signal and from Signal to Desktop is already simple. Recovery from Signal to a new mobile wallet (using a different Fog server) is a challenge to explain to users.
